Volkswagen is proud to support many charitable and not-for-profit organizations through financial contributions and other donation programs. Through its Volunteer Day Program, employees are actively encouraged to become involved in community programs, as well as state and national charitable, service, or relief efforts, by providing paid time off for those employees who take active, volunteer roles.

Audi is the exclusive automobile sponsor of Best Buddies International, an organization that provides one-to-one friendships for people with intellectual disabilities. Audi is the title sponsor for all cycling/ride events benefiting Best Buddies, and provides all official vehicles for Best Buddies fundraising and special events.

Matching Contributions Programs

For every dollar (minimum $25 contribution) that VW employees donate to select charitable organizations, the company automatically matches the donation, dollar-for-dollar, up to $5,000. Organizations that have benefited include the Detroit Institute for Children, Rainbow Connection, American Cancer Society and the United Way, among others.
